The Daviess County community is mourning the death of Israel Waggoner, 28, who was killed in a tragic side-by-side rollover crash late Wednesday night on County Road 450 South. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 10:37 p.m. following reports of a serious rollover crash involving a utility task vehicle. Investigators reported that Israel Waggoner was seated in the front passenger seat at the time of the crash. The vehicle was being operated by Miranda Knepp, 31, of Washington, Indiana, who told authorities she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, causing the loss of control.
